Electromechanical Technology, AAS

Students completing the Electromechanical Technology (Mechatronics) Certificate or Degree will have an interest in pursuing a career related to repairing and maintaining equipment used in industry and manufacturing.  Mechanical and/or maintenance technicians perform routine checks as well as troubleshoot and quickly repair mechanical or electrical problems that arise within manufacturing process and support equipment or systems. Students pursuing this certificate or degree will be exposed to multiple facets of machinery and equipment while acquiring a foundation for entry level employment with local distribution, manufacturing, and refinery businesses.
