Welding Fabrication Technology, AAS

The Welding Fabrication Technology Associate of Applied Science consists of two certificates that are in high demand locally and throughout the state; Welding Fabrication, and Pipe Welding. Students will be able to pursue either specialization as a Level 1 certificate or combine the two certifications as part of a Welding Fabrication AAS. The program prepares students for employment as production welder, fabrication welder, fabricator, maintenance welder, solderer, and pipe welder mainly in the manufacturing sector. The welding fabrication technology courses are competency based and teach the appropriate skills, knowledge, and perspectives needed to succeed within the welding fabrication field.
