Electrician (Electrical Technology), AAS

Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories. With around $80 billion in announced and proposed industrial projects along the Sabine-Neches Waterways, electricians will play an integral part in supporting the industrial growth. 

The Electriciation (Electrical Technology) Associate of Applied Science is designed to be fully stackable with the basic and intermediate Electrical Technology certificates. Students will pursue National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certifications upon completion of the basic and intermediate certificates before completing the AAS program. Job-specific training will focus on electrical safety and tools, residential wiring, commercial wiring, and transformer repair and maintenance skills.
