With around $80 billion in announced and proposed industrial projects along the Sabine-Neches Waterways, electricians will play an integral part in supporting the industrial growth.
The Basic Electrician Helper Certificate is designed to be the entry point for dual credit students and will be fully stackable to the Intermediate Electrician Academy Certificate as well as the Associate of Applied Science. Students will pursue National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certifications upon completion of the basic and intermediate certificates. Job-specific training will focus on electrical safety and tools, residential wiring, commercial wiring, and transformer repair and maintenance skills.
Program anticipated to begin fall 2025.
