RNSG 1210 - Introduction to Community-Based Nursing (Transition)

Overview of the delivery of nursing care in a variety of community-based settings to promote health; application of systematic problem-solving processes and critical thinking skills, focusing on the examination of concepts and theories relevant to community-based nursing; and development of judgment, skill, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Prerequisite: BIOL 2401 , BIOL 2402 , BIOL 2420 , ENGL 1301 , MATH 1314  (or MATH 1342 ), RNSG 1300 , RNSG 1311 , and Admission to the Registered Nursing Transition Program.
