VNSG 1423  VNSG 1423  A study of the biological, psychological, and sociological concepts applicable to basic needs of the family including childbearing and neonatal care. Utilization of the nursing process in the assessment and management of the childbearing family. Topics include physiological changes related to pregnancy, fetal development, and nursing care of the family during labor and delivery and the puerperium. Prerequisite: Pre-admission to the Vocational Nursing Program, BIOL 2401 , BIOL 2402 , VNSG 1160  and VNSG 1323  OR VNSG 1423  , VNSG 1227 , VNSG 1231 , VNSG 1402 , VNSG 1461 , VNSG 1122 , VNSG 1136 , VNSG 1462 , and VNSG 2413 .
