PHRA 1301 - Introduction to PharmacyCredits 3 Lecture Hours 3 Lab Hours 0 An overview of the qualifications, operational guidelines, and job duties of a pharmacy technician. This course teaches pharmacy technician students information, techniques, and procedures needed to assist the pharmacist in delivery of pharmaceutical products and services. The main objective is to provide the students with a working knowledge of most aspects of pharmacy in community, institution, and other practice settings. This course includes learning modules 1-8, 10, 13-21, 23-27, 29-36, 38, 40-43, and 45 from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ Module Curriculum for Pharmacy Technician Training (Third Edition).
