A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. This course provides students the opportunity to experience detailed education, training, work-based experience and direct patient or client care at a retail, institutional or long-term care clinical site. This course includes the application of objectives from learning modules 1-14, 17-29, 31-33, 35, 38, 39, 40, 43, and 44 from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ Module Curriculum for Pharmacy Technician Training (Third Edition).
