PHRA 1313 - Community Pharmacy Practice

Introduction to the skills necessary to process, prepare, label, and maintain records of prescriptions in a community pharmacy to include customer service, count and pour techniques, prescription calculations, drug selection and preparation, over-the-counter drugs, inventory management and legal parameters. This course includes the application of objectives from learning modules 1-3, 5-6, 10-11, 13, 17-18, 20, 24-26, 29, 31, 33, 36-37, 41, and 42 from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ Model Curriculum for Pharmacy Technician Training (Third Edition).
