PHRA 1445 - Compounding Sterile PreparationsCredits 4 Lecture Hours 2 Lab Hours 4 The process of compounding sterile preparations and aseptic technique within legal and regulatory guidelines specified by USP <797> standards. This course provides technician-focused instruction and training for the successful production of sterile parenteral preparations, a major responsibility of the pharmacy technician in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home healthcare.
