Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories. With around $80 billion in announced and proposed industrial projects along the Sabine-Neches Waterways, electricians will play an integral part in supporting the industrial growth.
The Electrician Academy Intermediate Certificate is designed to stack with the Electrical Technology Basic Certificate and the Associate of Applied Science. Students will pursue National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certifications upon completion of the basic and intermediate certificates. Job-specific training will focus on electrical safety and tools, residential wiring, commercial wiring, and transformer repair and maintenance skills.
Program anticipated to begin fall 2025.
